Step 1: Complete the Transit Control Card (TCT) Process
All visitors, whether traveling domestically or internationally, must complete the Transit Control Card (TCT) process. This card is a mandatory requirement for anyone entering the Galápagos Islands.

To enter the Galápagos, both national and foreign tourists must present the following at the airport:
- Valid identification: National ID or passport.
- Round-trip airline ticket: Must be personal and non-transferable, with travel dates not exceeding 60 days (permitted under the tourist category).
- Payment of the TCT fee: $20.00 USD. It must be paid in cash at the airport.

Step 2: Check Your Bags at the ABG Biosecurity Office
Before you can check in for your flight to the Galápagos, you’ll need to stop by the ABG (Biosecurity) Office to have your bags checked.
